What inspired you to pursue a dual career as both a colorist and stylist? When I started my career as a stylist, we focused on colors and shaping. This practice helps me understand the direction I want to take with my clients.

What advice would you give clients on maintaining their color and style between salon visits? I keep myself informed about the latest trends in color and styling by attending various classes, both online and in-person. Additionally, I browse through vintage fashion magazines to inspire new trends with contemporary twists. Another valuable resource is my coworkers in the industry; exchanging ideas and techniques allows us to enhance our knowledge firsthand.

What is your favorite hairstyle or trend right now, and why do you love it? My current favorite hairstyle is a Shag. It is versatile and can be adapted to suit all hair types, truly providing a sense of freedom for your hair.

Who or what influences your dual approach to color and style in your work? I have a great appreciation for Christopher Hopkins, known as “The Makeover Guy.” His work truly inspires me.

If you weren’t a hair stylist, what other profession do you think you’d enjoy and why? I would have truly enjoyed the opportunity to work for an airline, traveling the globe and interacting with people from all walks of life.

What is your favorite hobby outside of work? I’ve been passionate about motorcycles for 18 years, having owned four bikes along the way.

Additionally, I’ve rediscovered my love for sewing since the pandemic began. There’s nothing I can’t figure out and create with fabric!
