What inspired you to become a colorist? I have always had a passion for creativity, and hair coloring resonated with me. It’s incredible how a fresh color can transform someone’s appearance and influence their emotions. The power to boost confidence and allow individuals to express themselves through their hair is what truly motivated me to pursue this path.

What is your favorite aspect of working with hair color and why it excites you? Honestly, my favorite aspect of working with hair color is the transformation. It's not solely about the color itself; it's about how individuals feel afterward. There’s something truly amazing about witnessing someone's face brighten when their hair reflects their vibe, knowing that I played a part in that change.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest hair color trends and techniques? I keep myself informed about the newest hair color trends and techniques by engaging in hands-on learning, exploring social media and paying close attention to my clients, as they frequently introduce innovative ideas or trends for me to experiment with.

What is your go-to color technique, and why do you find it effective? My go-to technique is foil highlights. I appreciate their precision and the ability to achieve both natural and bold styles based on the client's preferences. This technique allows me complete control over color placement, ensuring that I can consistently deliver excellent results.

What advice do you have for your clients to maintain their hair color between salon visits? I’d recommend using a color-safe shampoo and conditioner, and aim to wash your hair no more than 2-3 times a week for optimal results. Always apply a heat protectant before styling, and if you spend considerable time in the sun, consider using a UV protectant spray or wearing a hat. Additionally, a deep conditioning treatment such as Kerastase Fusio-Dose will help maintain your hair's health and prolong your color.

What is your favorite hobby outside of work? My favorite pastime is being a mother. I cherish the moments spent watching my children grow and discover the world around them.
